Opening Prayer
“let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, My strength and my redeemer” Psalm 19:14
Good morning. I’m Denise Rox your Provincial Prayer chair. In you packet there is a paper with our Motto and The Prayer of the Order. Please pray these with me.
Motto of the Order
For His Sake…
I am but one, but I am one.
I cannot do everything, but I can do something.
What I can do, I ought to do.
What I ought to do, by the grace of God I will do.
Lord, what will you have me do?
The Prayer for the Order
O Eternal Father, you have sent us your son to teach us things pertaining to your heavenly Kingdom.
Give your blessing to our Order where ever it may be throughout the world.
Grant that we, your Daughters, ever may discern your truth and bear the cross through the battles of our earthy life.
Give us the strength to overcome temptation and the grace to spread your Kingdom and to gather your scattered sheep within you fold.
Pour our upon us the sevenfold gift of the Holy Spirit that we may always remember it is your work we are called to do, that all we think, do or say may be pleasing in your sight.
We ask it all For His Sake, our King and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen
Risen Lord, we praise you and thank you.
We praise you and thank you for safe travel, for friendships old and new, and for those that have worked to make this weekend possible. Bless our gathering with unity, hope, and vision. Lord be with us as we learn the actions of Corporal and Spiritual works of mercy. Inspire in us these acts of mercy to extend your Kingdom and show Your Glory and compassion to others. Miach 6: 8 tells us what the Lord is looking for in women and men; to act justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly with you. Send you Holy Spirit to enlighten and strengthen us. Quiet our hearts to hear you. We ask all this in the glorious name of Jesus.
Amen
